原来这个部落格还在! 面子书上载的一张照片让我想起了这个同名的部落格。好久没来这了。

上次到槟城来大概是3-4年前的事了。跟随sibehhojiak帮出席摄影讲座会。

蚝煎,在那时应该都在了。只是没有机会尝试。
壁画, 当时还不存在吧!
壁画,不知何时开始成为了槟城的吸引之处。

霹叻州万里望冰森酒家

周末到怡保市区人挤人、车水马龙的,倒不如到临近的小镇万里望去发掘新小天地。 今天早上找到万里望的老招牌-冰森酒家吃了新鲜西刀鱼丸、港式炒面、点心等。 价钱合理、食材新鲜丰美。两个人又吃又打包的才花了二十元马币。 下此旧地重游时才把照片跟大家分享。

Menglembu Famous Honey BBQ Chicken


Did you know that Ipoh has famous honey BBQ chicken? The famous stall is in Menglembu.

My friend and I were lucky enough to have free tasting of the Honey BBQ Chicken last weekend at Buntong's branch. We have found the best 'Ipoh kai si hor fun' at Buntong too!

Menglembu蜜糖烧鸡--好好吃哦!

平时很少吃鸡的我,被朋友热情的妈妈请吃鸡肉大餐:有蜜糖烧鸡、香脆炸鸡、还有鸡丝河粉(滑滑的白斩鸡)。哇,一下子把鸡肉各样煮法都吃下肚子!可想而知,那一顿鸡肉大餐是多么的美味可口,吃得我们连连赞好!Buntong是我第一次听、也是第一次到的一个地方。这里的美食可是卧虎藏龙,要不是当地人介绍,我们还不会有这个荣幸吃全怡保最好吃的鸡丝河粉呢!甜而不腻的汤头配着又滑又爽口的河粉(裹条),还有那肥肥短短的脆口芽菜,还有那白白滑滑香甜的新鲜白斩鸡、真是人间一大美味,棒极了!价钱也非常合理,11碗河粉汤+半只白斩鸡+2大碟芽菜,一共才RM31.60!

Umai-ya



I've read many about this Japanese restaurant on the internet; It is highly recommended by many food bloggers. Visited their branch at Puchong Boulevard. Nice ambiance and good service.


Food are generally fresh and taste good except the cha soba which I have tasted a better version. I tried the sake after friend's recommendation. First experience was not bad.

泰式の新年















一如往年,新年都会大鱼大肉。真的有点儿吃不消。今年,有了一点儿的变化。大年初六妹妹的朋友把我们带到一个远离家不远,但却很偏僻的地方。







车子在一条凹凸不平的石路上大概走了10分钟
后来到了一个鱼塘。鱼塘边有间餐馆,
店里卖的是正宗的泰国餐。相机没带,只好出动我的傻瓜手机。。。

CNY Reunion Dish

Last week I attended Chef Judy Loh's CNY dish cooking class at Ajinomoto. In the picture are my team mates and the 4 season platter that we cooked with Chef Judy's guidance.
I practised the recipe at home and managed to innovate from four season to "3 super stars" platter. :) Hehehe...
My little nephew likes these siew mai. :)

This is another simple dish I cooked for first day of CNY. Fried flavoured toufu with sauce.
