卤鸡脚


There are a few famous foods in this small little street near komtar area. 1st for appetizer we order 1 plate of 卤鸡脚. The name doesn’t make this appetizer sound extraordinary. But when we put the 卤鸡脚 into our mouth, it feels like the skin and the bone is separated so easily and we can directly spit the bone out. The taste of the sauce is submerging inside the 鸡脚 and it makes it taste so tasty.
炒粿条
卤鸭面
Then we order 2 main courses to eat which is the 炒粿条 and 卤鸭面. The normal 炒粿条 will use ingredient like kway teow, bean sprout, prawn, shit shellfish and egg. But the one we eat will have the normal one and on top of that it added the Fried female shrimp. 卤鸭面 is the normal 卤鸭 with internal organ of the duck. The specialties of the 卤鸭面 we eat is the 面 is small piece of white square rectangular 面. When cooked it will roll and we use the spoon to eat together with the 卤 soup and duck meat.
杏仁茶
Then finally the dessert will be 杏仁茶. This 杏仁茶 is a 2-3 generation business for more than 30 years. Normally when talk about Almond people will think about Chocolate or biscuit. Seldom people will think about 杏仁茶. I’m not sure how they turn the Almond into Tea but when I drink the 杏仁茶 I feel it very soft concentrated and smooth. Not many people get use to the taste because some say the taste is like cockroach taste. And another dessert together with the tea is 油炸鬼.

Besides that I enjoyed the almond tongshui too!
